This all started with a post I saw on Instagram for the Buffalo Niagara Water Keepers Waterfall Challenge.
-
Twenty Waterfalls total on this list to see in Western New York.
-
First to visit was Akron falls, followed by Indian Falls and the Glenn Falls! That was just day one! Which means there are plenty of adventures ahead.
-
My thoughts on the falls?
-
They are all brand new to me. Never before seen by my eye.
-
Thankfully we had a big rain fall the several days prior. Which lead to the roaring water.
-
Being by waterfalls is powerful. Energizing.
-
Akron falls really blew me away.
-
Indian falls is spectacular, wish I could get a different view.
-
Glenn falls is a hidden gem.
-
There are many layers to this adventure. It’s not just do complete the challenge. It is about learning, adventure and growth.
-
Each waterfall is going to get commemorated into a piece of artwork I will make. Then make available for anyone to purchase a keepsake of their favorite waterfall.
-
As a fisherman, being near all this water, I had to add another layer to the adventure, which was to also fish at each of the creeks/rivers below the falls.
-
Not to catch a fish necessarily, but just to fish it. Notice how similar and or different they all are. Tie in another piece of the puzzle.
-
You better believe I’m keeping my eyes peeled and ears open for birds too as I hop along.
-
This challenge is getting me out to places within my reach that I honestly did not even know existed.
-
Enjoy the photos below!
Plenty of details to take in.
Do you like the color or black and white better?
-
Thanks for reading.

Until the next adventure,

The black and white looks really good, but I like the color version better.
